One of the beautiful things about getting a group of attorneys together is that it instantly creates a referral network.  You are going to get leads for matters that are outside of your area of practice.  You would much rather refer those to one of your TLD colleagues, and they would much rather refer cases to you.  Why?

  1. You know these attorneys.  You see them around the office, and you know how to get in touch with them if you need to.  That is always more comfortable than just sending a client “out the door” never to be heard from again.
  2. The fact that you are a TLD member means you are more likely to receive referrals back.
  3. If you wish, TLD will keep track of referrals, so there is a neutral third-party maintaining a record and providing reminders.
